Hello home-owners, I am Laura, mid-thirties and have been house-sitting mainly in my native country England for two years. I am looking for opportunities this winter to care for homes and your pets whilst you are away. I like to travel and see new areas so house-sitting has suited me well. I am single, non-smoker, very tidy, non-party person, quiet, private, vegetarian. I have a degree in music and am working part-time online for a school. I have an Enhanced DBS, have a car and full-driver’s license.

Why they want to house sit

I am currently based in Forest Row, East Sussex and looking for a house-sitting opportunity to bridge a gap between house moves but I have complete flexibility at present.

Yes. I have been fortunate to meet a lot of pets and lovely owners over the two years I house-sat between 2016-2018. I began looking after two cats for a month in Shrewsbury. I have had a two month assignment in London looking after an elderly feline and indoor cats. I have litter tray experience and experience with medications. I have had a lovely assignment for a month in Herne Bay looking after two felines. An assignment in Rothwell close to my hometown of Northampton. I have house-sat for a Siamese cat in Munich for three weeks. I have had an assignment in Grendon Northamptonshire for six months looking after a cottage during it’s sale. An assignment in Bozeat Northampton for a month. Another in North London for a puppy and two indoor cats. An assignment in London looking after thirteen cats during summer. An assignment in Bath with a kitten at Christmas for a month whilst the owner journeyed to New Zealand. Another Christmas assignment in Flitwick keeping a home secure for two months. I have looked after a shy cat in Aylesbury for a month during spring. I have also worked on organic farms in Cornwall and Norfolk. Currently I am house-sitting in Forest Row whilst a house is going through a sale.

What can they bring to the assignment

I can bring peace of mind that your home and pets are being looked after with the upmost care. I will communicate with you throughout your trip as you wish. I will look after house-plants, take care of bins and mail. I can prepare a light meal for your return and leave the house as I found it. I look forward to hearing from you to discuss your plans.
