I am a friendly and enthusiastic individual who adores animals and exploring new places! I'm looking to take care of and spend time with animals, stay in different parts of the country, and help people feel at ease while they go on vacation or work trips, etc.

Why they want to house sit

I love house-sitting because it allows me to travel and spend quality time with animals!

I also just enjoy taking time out during the year to stay somewhere by myself as it's peaceful and relaxing.

Their experience

I have lots of experience looking after, dogs, cats, small rodents, rabbits, and other household pets! I rode horses every week for six years, mucking out, grooming, and tacking/ untacking them, so I am confident around large animals like horses. My family kept chickens for several years and I volunteered on a goat farm as a teenager, so I also have experience with outdoor/ farm animals as well.

I have house-sat for many clients over the years and am fully competent when it comes to tasks like cleaning and gardening.

In addition, I have previously worked as a daycare teacher and love children, so I have plenty of experience and a fondness for babysitting as well!

What can they bring to the assignment

I am highly experienced, reliable, safety-conscious, clean, and organized. I know how to take wonderful care of homes and pets, and have a great track record of doing so.

I'm a friendly and compassionate person who understands that it can be daunting to entrust your home and beloved pets with a stranger. So I always prioritize good communication with my clients, before and during the house-sitting period to help them feel at ease. I believe understanding exactly what the home/ pet owner wants and needs is of the utmost importance, as each client is different, and so I really take the time to listen to their personal preferences and make sure I stick to those throughout the process. I am more than happy to take photos and send emails regularly during my stay if this is something you would find reassuring.
