About this sitter

People accuse me of being “addicted” to animals. I prefer to describe it as a deep passion. I have a zoology degree and worked in an animal hospital for 7 years. I have a large clientele of devoted local clients who could provide references on request. Many of my regular clients own elderly and/or chronically ill animals that need special treatment and attention. I consider them all to be heavy responsibilities and treat them accordingly.

Why they want to house sit

As a fellow homeowner, I understand the importance of having the mail collected and flowers and plants watered and having someone visibly present in the home even when they can’t always be there. I make mental notes about the state of the house when I arrive and put an effort into leaving it equally clean or cleaner and tidy when I’m finished. I wash sheets, towels, and everything else needed at the end of my stay.

I’m VERY experienced! I encourage you to reach out to my clients to receive testimonials. I have brushed, washed, and delivered pets to requested locations as needed. I routinely care for diabetic dogs and dogs who suffer from seizures. I have enough energy to manage and entertain puppies (so fun!). I have washed, dried, transported, and medicated many pets for clients.

What can they bring to the assignment

Aside from my depth of knowledge and experience, my ability to connect with animals has been quite helpful. Some clients have remarked about the quick positive response their pets have had with me. I’m able to set and maintain a calm and solid energy.
