Hi there,
I would discribe myself as a reliable, friendly, tidy, trustworthy, pet friendly and outgoing world traveler. I love to hike, go for walks, be active and discover places, things, food and culture. When I am not out and about I read a lot or watch documentaries.

I work full-time for a German FinTech and am fortunate enough to be able to work 100% remotely. This allows me to travel year round and be flexible when it comes to the places I stay at and the duration of my stays. So far throughout my travels I have been staying in AirBnBs, sublets or with friends. Since I do have a regular 40h workweek and only require a good and stable internet connection it seems to make sense to house- and pet-sit whilst travelling. I ve been sitting for several people throughout the UK an Germany so far and it has always been a good experience.

The facts about me: I am 35 years old, own a house in Germany and recently enquired a camper van. I speak German, Englisch, Spanish, French and some Dutch. Throughout my studies I lived in the US, the Netherlands, France and Spain. I work remotely whilst travelling since almost 2 years. I do not smoke. I do have a car and would bring it along if possible.

Why they want to house sit

I travel whilst working. I do have a regular 9to5 job with some flexibility in terms of breaks etc. So far I have been renting AirBnBs or lived in short term rentals (sublets). I recently came across the option of house and pet sitting and realized that my "work/life" situation would be very benificial for taking care of pets. Since I love to discover the real life in the countries and places I am staying at I hope this will give me an even better opportunity to do so. Only thing I require is good internet connection. I ve been sitting for several people throughout the UK an Germany so far and it has always been a good experience.

Their experience

I frequently house, baby and pet sit for friends and family. I used to work as an AuPair in the US when I was younger and stayed with the family for a year. I took care of their kids, the household and two lovely dogs.
I grew up in the German countrieside and therefore am experienced with animals, gardening, housekeeping and so on. I'm a homeowner (currently rented out) so I am fully aware of the perks of owning real estated and on how to treat things well. So far all my house and pet sitting experiences have been wonderful.

What can they bring to the assignment

I ll treat your home and your pets like my own. I am very proactive and have no issues of being in charge of things that occure spontaneously. I don't mind checking in with you on a regular basis - so you can be assured that everything is perfect in your absence. Feel free to ask me about anything!
