Semi-retired couple wanting to experience new places.

About this sitter

We are recently semi-retired and traveling the country this year. We traveled last year for the winter months exploring the southern and western states. This year we plan to travel the northern and eastern states for the first half of our trip, then heading west across the southern states. We are looking to house it so that we can experience different cities and states and settle in for a bit instead of being tourists. We hope to also travel by plane outside the U.S. for short periods. Non-smokers.

Why they want to house sit

We would like to house sit so that we can experience different cultures and environments throughout the U.S. and other countries. We love the variety of what this world has to offer.

Their experience

We are experienced at property management. Len is a retired remodeling contractor. Stella is a semi-retired real estate agent. We have owned rental properties that we manage ourselves. We have done pet sitting for friends in our hometown. We have watched a Bernese Mountain Dog for 2 months and several other smaller dogs of different friends. We also grew up with pets in the house when we were children and later as adults.

What can they bring to the assignment

We have always taken very good care of our properties. We love animals, but don't have our own because we travel. If we are taking care of yours, they will receive a lot of attention.
