Couple looking for a housesit in Europe from March 2024

About this sitter

We are a couple (Kodi and Chris) and are keen world travellers. We have travelled many countries together and enjoy meeting new people and learning about new cultures. Kodi is from New Zealand and Chris is from England. We are currently living in New Zealand together. We are travelling to Europe in March 2024. We will be flying into Italy late March and hope to find a house sit while we are there. We are also open to the rest of Europe, as we will be taking our time to travel the continent. We are both animal lovers and have our own pets living back at home. We would love to find a house where we can take care of your pets for you. We are both clean and respectful people and happy to help out with jobs around the house/garden/farm etc.

Why they want to house sit

As we are always travelling, it's nice to have somewhere to call home for a while. We enjoy exploring new places and indulging in local food and culture. We love meeting new pet friends and have plenty of experience with animals. It can get quite hard being away from our animals at home, so it is always nice to be able to take care of and love other people's pets while we are travelling the world.

Yes, while we have been living and travelling in New Zealand, we have had the opportunity to housesit/petsit our way around. We also have lots of experience with pets. Can provide references.

What can they bring to the assignment

Kodi works on a farm with horses and takes customers out for horse treks daily. She grew up with horses and is able to work with green/young horses. Also has experience with cattle, dogs, sheep, donkeys, cats, pigs and alpacas.

Chris works in the construction industry, most experienced fixing plasterboard and tiling, but has worked in a wide range of construction jobs so is a great handyman to have around.
