Lovely little family available for house sitting!

About this sitter

Hi! We are Elsie and Kyle, we live in Saint Paul, MN in an old triplex that we completely restored and also rent out. We love to travel and have made it a point to do so as a family. We have two girls, a 3 year old and a little one who was just born in July. Kyle is an architect with his own practice, and I (Elsie) have a background in clothing design and patternmaking, but stay at home with the girls now. We have a studio that we built in our back yard for Kyle to work in so he is able to be home and the girls and I love to garden and bake together. We are looking for a place for Kyle to work remotely from and that has some good outdoor activities for the kids. As we travel often we don't currently have pets but we have previously had cats and I grew up with a beloved family dog. We are happy to care for yours!

Why they want to house sit

We'd love an enriching experience where we get to stay somewhere for an extended period and get to know neighbors and locals and feel at home, that's our favorite way to travel! House sitting would be a great way to keep busy and maintain routine whether with pets or household chores and get to know an area outside of just the usual tourist attractions.

Their experience

We own and rent a beautiful old triplex which we have restored over the past 7 years. We are experience with household maintenance, caring for shared indoor and outdoor spaces, gardening, and have both previously had beloved pets.

What can they bring to the assignment

We are friendly, respectful and responsible. Our daughters are well-behaved and like to help us with daily tasks. We can do gardening, some home maintenance as needed, tending to pets and animals. We are capable and eager to learn, you can count on us to care lovingly for your pets and home as we would for ours!
