Hello, we are Krista and Brian—a couple deeply passionate about travel, adventure, and animals. With nearly four years together, we’ve explored the world but always feel that trips are more meaningful when they include caring for furry (or feathery or scaly) friends.

Krista has a background in the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors, with a knack for management and a love for creativity. She's also a hard-working entrepreneur, in the midst of building her company, LAGO. Brian works in the tech industry for Threshold Networks and is equally adventurous and reliable.

We both grew up with pets and understand the commitment it takes to maintain a happy, healthy home for them. Our remote work lifestyles afford us the flexibility to be attentive caregivers, so your pets will be in safe, loving hands. From cuddles on the couch to routine feeding and walking, we are up for it all.

Why they want to house sit

The desire to house and pet sit comes from a blend of our love for travel and animals. We find immense joy in experiencing new places, not just as tourists but as temporary locals. House sitting provides us with the unique opportunity to deeply immerse ourselves in different communities. It allows us to live authentically in new environments, even if it's just for a short while.

Simultaneously, we both have a deep affection for animals and understand how important it is for pet owners to know their fur babies are in good hands while they're away. We are both responsible individuals; I have a background in medical devices and pharmaceuticals, and Brian works in networks, which has ingrained in us a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.

Additionally, our flexible remote work schedules allow us to be highly present and attentive, ensuring that your pets will receive the care, companionship, and exercise they need, and that your home remains secure and well-maintained. We both lead active lifestyles—whether it's surfing, hiking, or cycling—which makes us a perfect match for high-energy pets who love to get out and about.

Working remotely offers us the flexibility to accommodate your pet's needs, from early morning runs to leisurely evening walks. We're comfortable and experienced in caring for both dogs and cats; back in the States, we have two kittens and a dog whom we miss dearly. They're well cared for while we're away, and it makes us all the more eager to offer our love and attention to your furry family members.
