About this sitter

Retired, married couple with three grown up children looking to repeat an exciting time in our lives. We are looking for sits in lovely homes for house proud owners with or without beautiful well behaved pets. We like the relaxed, informality that house sitting affords.

We like to meet new people, see new places and experience different cultures. looking after pets dealing with the challenges of different properties are things that we enjoy.

Their experience

We've been house/pet sitting for over 10 years in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and the UK. We have carried out assignments from a week to six months prior to Brexit and Covid. We have enjoyed looking after an array of properties from a small terraced town house to sprawling estates with swimming pools, tennis courts and even a waterfall, and of course complex heating plumbing/sewage and electrical systems associated with them. We have cared for many cherished pets and a range of other animals including chickens, ducks and even a pig. We have done lots of repeat sits having been asked to return by the owners on many an occasion.

What can they bring to the assignment

Reliability and practicality, as a tradesman with many years experience should anything unexpected crop up we're capable of dealing with the problem. We have over the years loved pets of our own and are happy to look after owners pets as though they were our own. We love walking so dogs will get all the exercise they need. Cats are characters and we're sure will accept us on there terms of course, rest assured your pets will get all the love and attention they are used to.
