About this sitter
I am a 45-year-old responsible horse riding instructor and I have now gone back studying, this time doing master's degree in international law. I have a vocational education in equine industry + bachelors degree in business administration and I have also worked as a secretary, cruise ship casino dealer, librarian and flight attendant, so I adapt easily :D I am a vegetarian, quiet, friendly and reliable. Like to travel and walk in the nature.
Prefer to housesit somewhere warm, as I am not a fan of the Finnish autumn/winter :)
Why they want to house sit
I am interested in travelling as well as experiencing the local culture, and as I am travelling alone, would like to have company of pets.
Their experience
I have lots of varied experience taking care of animals. I have also a degree in equine industry (and been studying also agriculture) and I like to spend time with animals. I have worked on farms, riding stables, and also had my own stable with horses&ponies and other animals (dogs, cats, bunnies). I have also cared for farm animals (cows, chickens, sheep). I have housesitting experience from Finland and abroad also through a different house-sitting site (contactable references available).
What can they bring to the assignment
Right now I am only writing my master's thesis, so I would be around a lot, so that the animals don't need to be much alone. I like also walking in nature, so walking with dogs would be nice! I am quiet and respect the neighbors too.

Jenni stayed at my house for two weeks and took wonderful care of my dog who couldn't have been happier! She came a day earlier so it was easier to show her the house and the town and we had a great time together; she was organized, indipendent and respectful. 5 Stars for Jenni!
From the start communication with Jenni was easy, fast and efficient. She arrived and was immediately up for the job looking after our farm with all the animals, in the very rural Alto Alentejo in Portugal for almost 3 weeks in March. She was amazing with our two big dogs, very caring for the two cats, looked after our 25 chickens and cared perfectly for two donkeys and a horse. Jenni kept us updated almost on a daily basis, which was great and very reassuring. She asked for advice or feedback if necessary, but dealt with day to day jobs perfectly by herself. She is very organised, reliable and very professional and on top of that a lovely person. Thank you so much, Jenni and hope to see you again soon.

Jenni is the perfect housesitter
We have now had Jenni housesit our house and pets twice, and we can only recommend her to others in need of a sitter. She took perfect care of our small farm property, the dog and cat loved her and horses and chickens were well fed and taken care of. She is a really nice person on top of that, so we not only had a sitter, but a new friend too.

The best house sitter
Jenni is the best house sitter we've had! She was flexible in when to arrive and was willing to come a day early so we could show her around the property. We got along really well, and it was a treat to get to know her. She sent great updates while we were away, and we came home to a clean house, well-fed pets and thriving plants. Jenni took care of our 4 horses, many chickens, 3 cats and our dog, she also watered lots of plants both inside and outside. She went on long, wonderful walks with the dog, and I'm sure the dog was sad to see her go! We'd love to have Jenni house sit for us again! Highly recommended :D

Just wonderful!
I really enjoyed having Jenni housesit for me. She was very reliable and did a great communicating before her arrival. She took took wonderful care of my apartment and cat while I was away traveling. She got around perfectly well on her own in Nice, and gave me regular updates. When I returned, I found my apartment nicely cleaned and my cat very happy! I appreciated getting to know Jenni, she's a very interesting and thoughtful person. I highly recommend her, and would be more to have her housesit again!! Thank you Jenni, and best wishes!
