About this sitter

Hi, we are John and Moira a couple from New Zealand originally from Malta. Moira is a physician and John an emplyment consultant. We have taken a break from our current lives, work and responsibilities and are embracing different experiences, other work and responsibilities learning so many new skills and discovering new passions. One thing however that remains constant and strongly engrained in us is our love for animals . We have been house and pet sitting for many years starting off with family and friends' homes and extending into strangers' homes who have now become friends. We are now travelling around Europe and beyond embracing more experiences and opportunities. We are enjoying the opportunity to live somewhere for a period of time rather than a few days and immerse ourselves in the local scene. We speak Italian, Maltese and English and get by with French and Spanish.

Why they want to house sit

House sitting has and continues to be a great way to stay in places off the beaten track and to stay for longer, giving us wonderful extended experiences and getting a true(er) taste of the locality, its people and the culture. We hope to do this as long as possible or until it's time to go home!! We are responsible and very house proud and like your pets, your home will be a happy and respected home.

We are experienced, responsible and reliable. We can problem solve and can take initiative and be pro active, pre-empting issues but also quick to act if they do arise.
