About this sitter

I’m a lifelong pet owner with a former career in agriculture and qualifications in plant and animal care. I have excellent references and testimonials (below) from many successful sits.

I work remotely so I will be physically at the property much of the time. I often have a cat on my lap while I’m working and a dog at my feet (the cat and dog just change every few weeks!).

I’ve experienced many different sits so I know how to ensure a stress-free, smooth transition for you and your pets and ensure you return home to happy animals and a spotless house.

Why they want to house sit

I’m building an online business which is plant and animal focused and I love the companionship of animals! I will be at the property working on my online business most days. The lifestyle of house and pet sitting complements my lifestyle and career.

Their experience

I grew up with golden retrievers for the the first 25 years of my life. I went to work in organic agriculture full-time for 7 years working closely with dogs, cats, sheep, cows and poultry (as well as working with most other farm animals). I raised two lurchers and tamed a feral cat in this time.

I have been solely responsible for entire farms and managed them independently. I travelled around the South Western United States as a farm sitter in 2019 and in 2023 I travelled around Central America (Costa Rica, Guatemala and Mexico) as a pet sitter.

Working on farms I have picked up many practical skills and problem solving capabilities that transfer over directly to property management and maintenance.

Strong experience and a proven track record. I have successfully completed many varied house sits in multiple countries. I know how to manage a property independently and ensure there is minimal disturbance to your pet's lives. I leave the property in a spotless condition. I endeavour to ensure smooth transitions so that your pets are happy and content throughout the sit, you return home to a clean house and that there is no stress for you (or your pets) so you can relax and enjoy your vacation.
