About this sitter

We are Ollie and Jay. We are kind and responsible, and we adore animals!

Ollie grew up with cats, and Jay grew up with dogs, so those animals are our specialty. We have also cared for pigs and piglets, chickens, goats, and donkeys.

We both love hiking and connecting to the Earth. We both teach ESL online as our profession. Ollie is an artist, and is currently training to be an herbalist. Jay is an outdoor fitness enthusiast and loves to play guitar.

Why they want to house sit

We would like a peaceful and tidy location, preferably close to somewhere to walk or hike.

We are happy to take care of any animal!

Their experience

Jay has experience farm-sitting on Vashon Island, WA, where he tended chickens and cows.

We also took care of many farm animals, including cats, outside Asheville, NC. We took care of goats, pigs, a donkey, and cats there.

We also both grew up with pets, and feel very comfortable caring for them (including 3-legged dogs, and animals requiring daily medication).

What can they bring to the assignment

We are caring and responsible. We love animals very, very much, and will be sure to shower your fur babies with affection!

We will also be mindful and respectful of your home, and make sure it stays tidy and well-cared for.
