My decision to join the house/pet sitting community is motivated by my own sense of nurturing and security of our own family pets, home life and property while we are away.

Their experience

Yes. I regularly care for family and friends' pets and homes, in addition to child care-taking. Past/present care-taking of home with 1-2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 guinea pig, 1 rabbit, and most recently a villa with 1 cat.
I'm additionally employed at a college since September 2013 to present, as part-time faculty.

What can they bring to the assignment

* Ensures wellness, safety, and security of pets, home, and property.

* Maintains cleanliness, and upkeep of home, grounds, and property.

* Bathes and grooms pets, cleans small animal dwellings.

* Spends quality time nurturing and playing with pets. Regularly checks on and observes pets throughout the day and evening to ensure normal, healthy activity.

* Promptly reports any maintenance issues to home owner. Screens/verifies service calls with home owner prior to contact to ensure safety and security.
