Responsible and loving couple to look after your property and animals

About this sitter

We are Marco (1965) and Erna (1972), a Dutch couple who live in France. During the summer we run a creative centre in the beautiful Limousin area where we welcome artists who wish to focus on their creativity during an all inclusive stay with us.

During the winter we travel for several months with our motor home to discover new areas and find inspiration for our own art.

All this we do together with little Salvador, our rescue dog (a little pointer) who is an absolute cuddle machine and loves playing with other dogs or explore the area with his sensitive nose.

Why they want to house sit

To us, a house sit is a welcome change in living our adventurous lives. House sits give us the possibility to really discover a specific area and meet new people. And, of course, it's a bonus to be able to help other people when they need to leave their home (and animals) and would like some responsible and hands-on people to look after their property.

Their experience

We have done 2 house sits in the past. Unfortunately we didn't renew our Mind My House account in time this year, so unfortunately one of our two perfect references was lost. We hope you trust us when we say we are responsible, hands-on and are able to take care of your garden, repair little things if needed and will leave your house clean and tidy.

What can they bring to the assignment

We completely renovated our house and creative centre in France ourselves. So we are both experienced DIY'ers and are not afraid to use our hands if needed. We will love and cuddle your animals and take them for as many walks as necessary. We know about solar panels, septic tanks and compost toilets and assure you your house and animals will be safe with us.
