My name is Aira, and I am excited about becoming your house-sitter. As a Brazilian Portuguese, living in Portugal at the moment, I bring a vibrant cultural background and a passion for exploring new territories.

Professionally, I lead a versatile life as a Digital Nomad, specializing in Mindfulness Teaching, Therapy, and Marketing Strategy. These roles have honed my skills in understanding human behavior and communication – essential attributes in diverse settings.

As a mother to my delightful two-year-old daughter, Eva adds warmth and care to our household. Our life revolves around mindful play, learning, and a shared love for nature. Like her mother, Eva is fond of animals, especially cats, and is learning the art of caring for our furry friends.

House sitting is not just a profession for me; it's a sustainable lifestyle deeply ingrained in my family history. Growing up, my grandparents and parents were dedicated house sitters, overseeing spaces such as a sprawling fruit and vegetable farm. We cultivated vibrant spaces, fostering a love for animals, including dogs, cats, bunnies, and hamsters and surounded by wild animals. We love and respect nature. Because this is our HOME, we are part of nature.

My philosophy revolves around caring for homes as if they were my own, instilled in me through years of experience. This rich background has shaped me into a reliable and responsible house sitter, emphasizing the interconnectedness of people and places.

I have a seven-year-old cat at home, that will stay with great company while we travel.

In essence, my intention to house and pet sit is about connecting with people, sharing and enriching our lives through travel, cultural immersion, and the joy of caring for pets.

YES. My desire to house and pet sit stems from a belief in the enriching power of sharing time and energy with others, including animals. Growing up, my family's experience with long-term house-sitting helped me overcome my initial fears of dogs and cats. This exposure taught me to appreciate their behaviors and to cherish their presence and love animals. Now, I am more than happy to have them around and consider them a joyful part of life.
