About this sitter

Hi! My name is Carmen and I'm 38yrs old.
I'm a professional musician, crazy cat woman/ slave to 7x fluffs and Mama to a beautiful baby boy called Pierre.
I grew up in London. Eventually, my Mediterranean roots called me and I relocated for over 10yrs to France, Spain and Cyprus.
I returned to London this year to be nearer to my family.
But the wanderlust in me will always be strong...
So, I am happy to consider house/ pet sitting assignments by the sea, in the countryside or towns/ cities. I love the endless tranquility of nature as much as the thriving hub of city life.
I prefer hot climates over cold climates- that being said, I have always dreamt of spending a snowy Christmas in a log cabin in Austria or Canada- TBC?!
I can provide references from my previous landlord and employer..

Their experience

As a housesitter, no, I never done anything like this before! However, the adventurer in me loves the idea of the unknown and beginning 2024 with a wonderful new chapter... Plus, I believe I can be an asset to your pets and home!
With animals, I am highly experienced as a pet owner, animal rescuer and as a volunteer. I have raised many baby animals, so am very much used to the mischievous nature of puppies or kittens for example.
My pet cats are all strays that I rescued when I lived in Cyprus.
Equally, I am calm and patient towards any elderly or sick pets and am trustworthy enough to administer daily medications or keep up to date with regular therapy or vets visits.
(My beloved dog from my youth suffered from epilepsy and arthiritis in his old age).

What can they bring to the assignment

I am:
- Adaptable to any environment
- Experienced with animals- especially mammals and birds
- Friendly to all: neighbours, family, the dustbin men lol...
- Able to keep calm in stressful situations. If there happened to be a leak in the house or natural disaster, I won't loose my cool!
