About this sitter

Welcome to my page and thank you for taking the time to read something about me! My name is Jason Reef and i am a Dutch Australian, I live in The Netherlands and i am 31. I am an online language teacher in Dutch and English, so i am a freelancer who is able to live anywhere anytime. I also do additional freelance work like translating. I started this freelance live because of covid, i lost my job because of covid and i didn't want to wait and do nothing (even though we got government support). So i started teaching online and built up my own online teaching job and now i am working full time online.

I am a very responsible person, i dont smoke, drink nor do drugs. I am not a party person. I am very clean, i live with my father and i take care of him, i clean the whole house, do the laundry, the dishes, i make sure he goes to work on time (he sometimes oversleeps) and i cook for him because he can't cook. I also do hard labor in the garden for example so he doesn't have to.

I grew up with multiple pets in my life and learned how to take care of them, i am an only child and grew up with 2 huskies, which i called my sisters, i was very close with them and i even convinced my parents to post pone putting one of them to sleep because my gut feeling said it wasnt the right time. I was right and she lived another 6 months. I also had a big Lotharinger rabbit which is the second biggest rabbit in the world. We also had fish, birds and hamsters.

Why they want to house sit

Because i can work from any place in the world i think its the best way to travel and see the world in an authentic way, to see the real local life and not the hotel one. I am still young and i want to travel the world and see every country in the world. I love pets and i love the local not touristic life. I want to learn the languages of where i stay and talk with the neighbours. Of course it's not a secret that we young people aren't millionaires so the best way to travel and learn about the world is by being creative. Housesitting is one of these creative solutions, its a perfect compromise, because someone needs a sitter and someone needs a place to stay.
