Well Trained House and Pet Sitting Family

About this sitter

We are an Australian/Irish/British family who have been travelling the world since 2015. Paul (husband) and I had our children late in life but have had this wonderful opportunity to see & experience so much with them in their early years and house and pet sitting at the same time allows us to provide them with some sort of normal 'home life' as we do so.

Why they want to house sit

House and pet sitting provides us with an opportunity to live in places that feel homely for our boys and as housesitting provides a great reason to travel to different locations it's also a great way to see the world. We save our sightseeing for times between sits however and take our house and pet care seriously enjoying that time to be homebodies, devoting our time and effort to looking after the properties and pets we have been entrusted with.

Their experience

We have been officially housesitting since late 2019 and have accumulated 20 five star reviews (on another platform, and can make those available to interested home owners) and we also have other character and landlord references. Additionally we have over 50 AirBnB reviews. We have looked after all kinds of homes from urban apartments to off grid bare basic properties, farms and even manor houses and have taken care of cats, dogs, fish, ducks, chickens, sheep, donkeys, rabbits and cows. My mother also owns a cattle and goat farm in Australia, and at times has also had horses and chickens, so we have also had experience helping her out there & with those animals too, in the past.

What can they bring to the assignment

We are a mature couple with two boys who have grown up understanding the importance of taking good care of any property or pets that we are entrusted with. Few have lived as diversely as us and we have plenty of testimony supporting our ability to look after all kinds of homes and pets, from the very rustic to the very grand. We pride ourselves in leaving home owners thrilled to have chosen us and work very hard to meet and exceed high expectations of care.
