About this sitter
We are a couple, a French woman and Irish man living in France (Brittany). Marie is a chocolate maker and Des a graphic designer, both self-employed.
We love dogs and animals in general, taking care of a house/garden, doing maintenance when necessary while at the same time discovering the local natural surroundings.
We are looking for some time away after a very busy period, but without travelling for the sole purpose of tourism.

It's a way to move around in a helpful manner creating connections between like-minded people without the usual commercial exchange/commitment.
Their experience
Yes, we did a 3 month Mind My House house-sit in the south of France in the spring of 2023 for a busy family living between Germany and France minding their dogs cats and chickens on their 10 acre property. We look after animals and houses for friends and family from time to time too of course.
What can they bring to the assignment
Our new boy, general handiness if needed, lots of recipes, reliability, and a love for life.
