About this sitter
I live in Belgium (Flanders), am married and have 3 children.
All my life I have had the company of dogs and cats and temporarily also sheep, goats, parakeets, rabbits, chickens ... . I love the outdoors because of the peace and nature. However, I prefer to house sit in a city, because I enjoy the culture there (museums, architecture, cozy squares with restaurants). Reading and walking are my favorite activities. I am a non-smoker.
I prefer a place where I do not need a car as I usually travel by public transport.
Why they want to house sit
Since I'm not tied to a specific location, I hope to discover beautiful cities through house sitting, in the company of one or more animals. I prefer cats, but I also love other animals and enjoy taking care of them (as long as the number of animals remains limited).
Good Wi-Fi is a must.
Their experience
I have been taking care of animals all my life. I grew up on a farm where I mainly cared about the pets (dogs, cats, sheep, goats, chickens, etc.). With the exception of my student days (when a tame rat kept me company), I have always had cats. We currently have three cats and a dog (Beagle) at home, which are cared for by my husband when I am absent.
What can they bring to the assignment
I can guarantee optimal care of the animals and will stay in the house with the necessary care and responsibility.

Short perfect stay
Els is a very clean and attentive sitter. She has taken care of my house and Alfred for 5 days. Communication has been very clear for the entire duration of her stay. Excellent sitter!
Els was a great sitter, and I can highly recommend her. We had great and easy communication throughout the whole process, she’s open and friendly. Our 2 cats were so well-cared for, something which made our trip so much easier knowing they were in safe hands. Els cared for the plants too and I was very relaxed having her in the house, everything felt very safe and secure. Our house was left perfectly clean and tidy, and we came home to 2 happy cats.
