About this sitter
We are an elderly teacher-engineer couple from a small city in Hungary. We've been together for almost 30 years, we have a 24 year old son.
Why they want to house sit
We are rather travellers, not tourists. We love to meet local people, and we love to, even for a short time be part of a different community.

What can they bring to the assignment
Other than the basic requirements when looking after a house, we offer pet-sitting, we love dogs and know how to care for them. If needed we can easily fix things around the house if they malfunction or break.

House and pet sit
Judith and Stephan looked after our home and pets and came all the way from Hungary .They are a lovely couple and our dog and cat took to them both instantly .They went above and beyond our expectations and we would not hesitate in recommending them .We returned home to birthday banners and balloons and a wonderful home cooked Hungarian dinner much appreciated after a long day travelling . They are a kind and caring couple and we really enjoyed their company.Anyone who chooses them for a house and pet sit will be very lucky to have them and we hope we will get see them again .

Judith and Istvan Varga
Judith and Istvan , we could not have asked for better house sitters. Judith and Mary became great friends, like long lost sisters. They looked after our house like it was their own. Istavan tied up my work shop, which was not an easy job. They kept in touch with us from the day we left, until the day we returned. I have to say, both my self and Mary, really felt at ease with Juidth and Istvan and would really recommend this lovely couple. If there was one problem, the dogs seemed to like them a lot more than us. You know what they say, dogs are a good judge of character, lol, If you are looking for house sitters, you found them. Perfect Sitters
Judit and her husband were the perfect sitters for us. They were very independent and reliable, we felt we could relax and know that the house and the dogs were in good hands. We kept in contact throughout, and we were reassured along the way with photos of the dogs. They even built some flat-pack furniture that we hadn't been able to get around to ourselves!
