About this sitter

I'm a cat person but also have experience taking care of all sorts of animals. My dearest Rosie cat died back in December 2022 and I still can't bring myself to get another, but I love spending time with other peoples!

Why they want to house sit

I've been given a few months off over the summer 2024 and thought that housesitting might be a good way of seeing new places whilst also having the company of an animal!

Their experience

I grew up with cats, dogs, horses, chickens, goats and guinea pigs. (I think my mother prefers animals to humans). I grew out of riding, but am confident with handling horses. I also learnt how to milk a goat as a teenager! My parents breed working cocker spaniels and Labradors so I have been surrounded by puppies my whole life. Which ironically made me into a cat person, I love well behaved dogs that don't bite! I had a run in with a dog as a child so can feel nervous around loud or aggressive dogs!

What can they bring to the assignment

I can bring lots of pets and cuddles for all the animals, I like spending my time getting to know the character of an animal and making friends with them. I like to talk to animals because I think they can understand it all and I don't want them to feel left out!
