About this sitter

As a freelance web designer and a writer, we are lucky enough to be able to work from wherever we currently find ourselves. We are huge animal lovers and find their company infinitely soothing to our souls.

Why they want to house sit

There's nothing more enriching to our creative endeavors than discovering new places, new experiences and, of course, new furry friends. This is what first drew us to house-sitting, and I (Richard) have spent many years house sitting full-time.

Their experience

Over the last 10 years either we, or I, have successfully completed over 56 house sits. We have looked after cats, dogs, fish, chickens, and even a hibernating tortoise in a fridge! On one of my sits, I donned a bee-keepers suit to assist in the care of some bee hives.

We looked after two highly charged Jack Russells on the Welsh borders, a beautiful Maine Coon cat in Hampshire, a wonderful terrier in Northern England, three crazy cats in Florida, a neurotic (but very lovable) Australian Cattle Dog in New York and two French cats in London.

We've also tended and maintained some large gardens and a vegetable enclosure, watering daily and feeding the plants as required.

What can they bring to the assignment

Stability, reliability and maturity are what we bring to our assignments. We take the trust placed in us with each and every house-sit very seriously. And since we spend much of our time working, you can be sure we will spend quality time around or with your pets.

You will get updates as often as you like, by the method you prefer. Or we will leave you to enjoy your trip in peace and deal with every eventuality sensibly and confidently. Our approach will be tailored to your requirements. And at the end of it all, We’ll make sure your home is returned to you clean, tidy and welcoming.
