I am retired and looking forward to house sitting. I love visiting new places, and I want to explore. I live in San Antonio, and much of my time is spent working with non-profits and charities. My children are grown, and now it's time for me. I am a writer, very healthy and fit. I eat healthy foods, exercise, and my favorite hobbies are dancing, animals (especially cats) and the outdoors. and I spend my time writing, walking, and connecting with others. I majored in fine arts, and wrote professionally for over 30 years. I am very trustworthy and reliable. I will faithfully take care of your home and precious, beloved animal family.

Why they want to house sit

I want to house sit to explore what its like to live in other places. The idea of exploring various lifestyles by staying at one place at a time is a way of studying the people, the culture, and the way of life in an in-depth manner that cannot be accomplished by spending only a few days in any one place. Since I am a writer, it is my desire to explore the home and its immediate area to find out what makes living there unique. I will use my experiences in my writing. I do not take drugs, drink or smoke. I am ready to take care of your home and your animals with the same love and consideration as if they were my own.

Their experience

I have been a guest in many people's homes in my many years of travel. I have also been a house-sitter. My attitude about staying at places other than my own home is to leave the lowest footprint possible - no waste, and no damage. I always strive to leave the places I visit clean, well loved and well managed. I treat other homes with the same love, consideration and attention I would my own home. I have been a pet parent for many years, and have taken loving care of other people's pets.

What can they bring to the assignment

I love animals, and I like spending lots of time caring for them and giving them hours of loving attention.The animal friends for which I have cared never want me to leave! My joy is to see that other people's homes and animals are treated with the utmost respect. The one word I would convey about having me in your home and with your precious pets is "trust".
