Hello! I'm an open-minded, independent, and responsible digital nomad, solo traveler, and animal lover from Taiwan. I've lived in Amsterdam for around 1.5 years. I've been pet & housesitting for 3+ years. I love snuggling cats and generally caring for homes and animals.

Cats have always been a big part of my life, I grew up with cats, and later I had cats on my own. I am infatuated with these wonderful and graceful animals, and there is nothing like having a nice furry friend snuggling up to his little head on me and sleeping full of trust on my lap.

I have had pets around throughout my childhood, so I hope you can entrust your pets with me. Cleanliness, tidiness, attention to detail and clear communication are important to me, so you don't have to worry about your place being messed up while away.

I am a digital nomad coach, running my business online, which means I will have enough time for your home and beloved pets. I treat every home and its belongings with the same respect that I treat my own by being clean and tidy.

Why they want to house sit

I've been running my own online business as a digital nomad and housesitting around the world for the last 3+ years. Housesitting has allowed me to combined my love of travel and animals with maintaining my business.

Born in Taiwan, now I'm based in Amsterdam and Taipei. The Netherlands is my favorite country. I've been a life-long traveler and world citizen. Having solo traveled to 33 countries, I find myself at ease in foreign surroundings. With an innate sense of openness and curiosity, I easily immerse into local cultures and way of life.

I can speak English and Chinese fluently and have a basic knowledge of German and Dutch. I am not shy interacting with the locals (and learning a new language), as well as reaching out for help or doing whatever needs to be done to make sure everything goes well.

Their experience

I grew up with 1 cat and 2 rabbits, so I have 15+ years of experience in taking care of cats and rabbits. I've also helped some hosts on HelpX take care of cats and puppies in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany. I have 2 family cats, Sugar and Milk Tea, back home in Taiwan, so I'm very experienced in caring for cats.

What can they bring to the assignment

I appreciate the trust you place in me by letting me take care of your home and beloved pets. I do NOT smoke or do drugs and am very environmentally conscious and respectful to property. Happy to help with other chores like taking care of your plants or collecting mails.

Should the need arise, I'm ready to respond to any unexpected issues such as vet visits or arranging home repairs.

I understand what it's like to miss your pets, so I keep in touch with you throughout your trip so you know your house and pets are in good hands, photos included. I'm also careful to follow any routines with your animal and home and/or any dietary restrictions to make sure their daily routines are not interrupted.
