About this sitter

I am an independent woman in my 50's and although I have my own home base in Spain, I love travelling and staying in places in an authentic way. I find housesitting and pet-sitting the perfect way to do this, as well as being able to make some furry friends. I work as an online tutor with very flexible hours. I love meeting new people, travel, cooking, reading and going to see live music.

Why they want to house sit

Of course, it is a very economical way to see another place that may otherwise be out of my budget. My doggie Vera (in the photos) died in 2022 and until I am ready to get another dog, I'd love to hang out with yours! I also enjoy the company of cats.

I am a homeowner myself, so I always pride myself on keeping your place clean and tidy. I rent my place on Air BNB so there is always an element of trust there, and I believe most people are respectful and kind, like myself. With regards to pet care, I am responsible and attentive and have owned my own pets.
