Responsible family of five who love animals and travel

About this sitter

We are an Australian family about to embark on a year of travel. We are a married couple with 3 daughters who are looking for new experiences and a home away from home. We love all animals and are currently living in a house (as caretakers) attached to a vet practice. We get to meet new animals everyday who come and say hello and keep us company. We have a 10 year old cat and have previously had rabbits. We spent a year raising a guide dog puppy who we were thrilled to have graduate as a guide dog after our time with him.

Why they want to house sit

We are looking for new places and adventures while we are travelling to provide us uniques experiences and opportunities to connect with communities we may not see otherwise. We see house sitting as a great opportunity to have periods of calm and home life amongst our year of constant change. House sitting will enable us to continue to teach our daughters empathy, respect and an awareness of different cultures.

Their experience

We are new to house sitting but have experience caring for other peoples homes and animals. We are housesitting a friends place and frequently look after friends pets while they are away. We have experience looking after dogs, cats and rabbits and would be excited to look after different animals and houses with the helpful guidance of future home owners. During our time raising a guide dog puppy we were able to commit to the schedule for daily training, walks, medications and vet visits to ensure he was on track to become a guide dog.

With a passion for all animals and a commitment to responsibility, we offer peace of mind for both you home and animals while you're away. We won’t be working so we have plenty of time to attend to animals and home maintenance while home schooling our three daughters.
