About this sitter

Hello! Our names are Sydney and Jameson. We are a couple of six years with a combined 15 years of animal caretaking and farming experience. Our home is in rural New Hampshire, USA where we live in a rustic cabin on our family property which consists of four humans, 12 chickens, six cats, two rabbits, and the occasional family of skunks and turkeys we feed. Generally speaking, we have a bleeding heart for animals and thoroughly enjoy tending to their needs and loving up on them. Jameson and I's love for farming and stewarding the land is what brought us together when we met in Maui, Hawaii. We are naturally self-reliant, responsible, and curious folks who cherish a simple and traditional way of living. We are looking for the right home and family of animals and plants to care for and learn from in a mutually respective relationship where we will take care of your home and creatures as it ours in your absence.

Why they want to house sit

As we plan to expand our family and welcome a baby into our lives in the next year or two, we want to explore the homelands of my ancestors together as a couple.

Their experience

Jameson has grown up on farms with many plants and animals throughout his life. He is now 38 years old.
I have devoted my adult life to learning the ways of the land and being a caretaker to animals and children now for over 10 years. I had a pet sitting business from 2015-2018 and since then have been working with children.
Throughout the whole time we have remained passionate about farming, herbalism, and gardening.
