About this sitter

I love to explore new places, preferably in or close to nature, and I love animals. I have none of my own as my landlord won't allow it. This is why I like to look after other people's pets until I have a place where I can start a farm. I am quiet and love long walks, books and meeting new people.

Why they want to house sit

I am based in The Hague, Holland, where I work as a consultant, mainly for the government. But since I can work from anywhere as long as I have access to Wi-Fi, I like a change of scenery now and then with a few cuddly pets around.

Their experience

I have been pet-sitting for 15 years now. After a long pause to care for my mother, I am slowly back into it. I was raised with animals in the house: cats, hamsters, birds, turtles, fish, and dogs. My brother had horses, which I used to look after with my father. I have been riding horses for over ten years. In Greece, where we lived, we used to have poorly strays from everywhere taken to our home because people knew we'd nurse them back to health. It even included an owl and a donkey. I had dogs, cats, and a giant land turtle in South America that we saved from the soup.

What can they bring to the assignment

I'm a responsible person living an active and healthy lifestyle. I don't drink or smoke. I like to go running, preferably with a few dogs, so that they can get some exercise, too. I enjoy gardening and am happy to maintain whatever needs maintaining. I am new to Mind My House, so I have no recommendations yet on Mind my House, but I can provide reliable references from elsewhere if required.
