Kia Ora two caring teachers on sabbatical

Kia Ora, I'm Karin a teacher of the Arts and an artist. Steve, my hubby of 27 years is also a teacher. We are taking a sabbatical and wish to travel back to Europe. NZ is our home for the past 20 years, but, I am originally from North Wales, and am passionate about my homeland and rugby. Steve is from Eastbourne, East Sussex an ex-rugby player, wonderful cook and loves to bike and hike. We have lived in Powell River, B.C, Canada and my family live in White Rock and Prince George, Canada. We have one wonderful son aged 25 . We are non-smokers. We are looking to house sit in order to experience areas more like a local than a tourist.

Why they want to house sit

When you go away one of the worries, is your home. So, I know how important it is to have the peace of mind that it is being looked after carefully, whilst you are travelling. If you are leaving pets behind, it's even more important to you to know that your fur babies are being looked after and loved. They would be by us!

Their experience

We recently spent a month house sitting in Queensland, Australia. Whilst we where there, some severe storms struck and we where able to look after the house during these adverse conditions and give the owners peace of mind.
Another time I house sat and minded my friends greyhounds in Wales.

What can they bring to the assignment

We are trustworthy, organised, clean and tidy. Also very conscientious and would ensure house we looked after was kept superbly for owners return.
