About this sitter
Hi!
My name is Tereza. I'm 23 years old, and I'm a grammar school and private English and history teacher. I live in Brno, Czech Republic, and I have experience taking care of Siberian Huskies (for a full year), German Shepherds, Maltese dogs, and cats. I love animals, but currently, I reside in an apartment where having a pet wouldn't be allowed by the landlords. That's why I spend time with them at our family house on weekends and with friends' dogs as well. Most importantly, it's why I'm on here!
I completed two sittings in the UK and Ireland (each summer one) and took care of large dogs, cats, gardens, and chronically ill old dog.
From October 2025 to April 2026 I took care of a Husky with respiratory illnesses.
In 2022-2023, I volunteered at Lucky Dog Bali Rescue, an Indonesian dog shelter. I have lived alone in a rented apartment for a few years now, so I'm accustomed to cleaning and taking care of it.
I'm experienced in taking care of plants and garden. I help out at our small family farms, so chickens are no problem to me.

Why they want to house sit
I'm a private English teacher and I'd like to experience UK life - the house, food, even what's on the TV. I also love animals but can't keep any in my current apartment so I'd like to spend my time off taking care of some.

Recommended house sitter
Tereza and Jan house sat for me in June 2024 and looked after my border collie who has minor health issues. Tereza send me up dates & photos while I was away. I came home to a very happy dog and the house was very clean & tidy. They also looked after my numerous plants during a very hot spell. I would definitely recommend them both as house sitters.
