About this sitter

Hello, we're the Bannatyne family, a Bristish/Australian family of four. Originally from the UK, with Pete from Dunfermline and Victoria from Surrey, we've been living in Australia for 12 years. We are now returning to the UK for over a year, with a plan to travel around exploring the UK and Western Europe while visiting friends and family.

Victoria, aged 41, is a teacher, while her husband Pete, aged 42, shares the same profession. Our two children, are aged 3 and 5. In seeking a house sit, we hope to find a child-friendly environment where we can stay and care for your home during our adventures. We particularly enjoy long walks in the countryside, so proximity to nature would be ideal.

We have owned pets including dogs, cats, and chickens and we understand the importance of caring for animals according to your instructions. As homeowners ourselves, we value the responsibility of maintaining a home. We're meticulous and tidy individuals, ensuring cleanliness and careful upkeep of our surroundings. Our children are accustomed to sharing a room and participating in household chores. Our home in Australia has a fairly high maintenance tropical garden so we are quite used to working in the garden and happy to take on gardening tasks.
