Why they want to house sit

Our dream is to spend time from November to April on Vancouver Island so we are closer to our 40 something daughter and family (1 husband, 2 responsible teens) who live in Comox.

Their experience

We have occasionally house sat and pet sat for friends and family but are new to Mind My House.

What can they bring to the assignment

We are experienced with daily household upkeep both in an urban area and a rural area. We currently live in the country. I am a retired school principal and a careful house cleaner and kitchen maintainer, my husband, retired engineer, is handy and can fix minor household glitches. We both enjoy pets - our current pet is our sweet Sisu, a tuxedo cat. Happy Girl is our very missed Springer Spaniel.
