Location-independent spiritual coach and trainer!

About this sitter

For the last 2 years, I have been blessed with living a "location-independent" and nomadic lifestyle, which allows me to travel full-time (without a permanent homebase)! Sometimes this means visiting family, friends, or clients, sometimes it means housesitting or petsitting, and sometimes it means grabbing a hotel or AirBnb/VRBO in a new place that I'm excited to explore. All of my work as a coach and a trainer (financial, business, and spiritual topics) can be done virtually with a phone line and internet, so I am able to allow myself to be intuitively led from space to space as commitments and opportunities present themselves.

What I'm looking for in a housesit: A tidy and comfortable environment, with or without pets (dogs and cats preferred, I'm open to considering other animals as well). Homeowners that communicate proactively and well about their needs so that surprises can be kept to a minimum, and who are willing to trust their housesitter (I'm happy to communicate regularly). Private sleeping quarters are requested, and I will need somewhere to sit and work about 15-20 hours/week (private space is a bonus, and not necessary if homeowners aren't present and I can have a confidential conversation - I've worked well at many kitchen tables! :-))

Why they want to house sit

House sitting calls to me as a sacred and mutually beneficial exchange between a home owner and a full-time traveler like me! As a former homeowner myself for almost 18 years (a beautiful condo) before I began full-time travel, I understand the trust that is extended for me to stay in someone's home and to care for their home and possibly their pets. For me, house sitting is a fun way to explore new towns and cities that I might otherwise not have been led to while having a place to rest from regular road travel. And, of course, if there are beloved pets included in a house sit I get to love up on your babies while getting some cuddles in for myself. :-) See my pictures for some of the beautiful babies I've been blessed to care for!

Their experience

While I am new to the Mind My House site (as of July 2024), I have been housesitting and petsitting for several years now. I have supported homeowners with simple tasks such as plant watering and mail retrieval, and I have also aided with more complicated tasks such as post-surgical care for a 100-lb. female chocolate labrador (unexpected emergency hysterectomy while parents traveling overseas).

What can they bring to the assignment

Other than a wide-open heart that can love your space and your fur babies...I communicate very effectively, I have excellent attention to detail (thank you to all those early years as a financial auditor/business executive! ;-) ), and I am highly trusted by clients, friends, and family (I'm the one people call when they get to talk through an issue).
