We’re a young, energetic Ukrainian couple passionate about caring for pets and travel.

Him: My name is Dima, I’m a programmer and a sports enthusiast. I lead a healthy and active lifestyle and have a deep love for pets, especially those that need attention and playtime. Growing up, I spent a lot of time in the countryside, where I gained hands-on experience with animals. From taking care of larger outdoor animals to ensuring pets have the exercise they need, I’ve developed a practical, natural approach to animal care, especially for pets who enjoy outdoor adventures and space to roam.

Her: My name is Lera, and I’m a stylist with a lifelong love for animals. I’ve been surrounded by pets since I was 6, and over the years, I’ve adopted several animals. I also volunteered in animal shelters in my native town, where I cared for abandoned pets—providing comfort, tending to their needs, and helping them feel safe in a new environment. My time at the shelter taught me how to handle pets with different personalities and backgrounds, making sure they receive the attention and affection they deserve.

Both of us are non-smokers, responsible, and diligent. We love discovering new places, meeting new people, and—most importantly—spending time with their pets!

Why they want to house sit

Spending time with pets is similar to meeting new people - every pet is absolutely unique and it's like a small adventure - to get to know them better.
We know that every pet owner wants to leave their beloved pet in loving and carrying hands and we are very happy to help them with it.

We both have 100% remote jobs, so we take every chance possible to travel and discover different countries. Because every, even small, journey fills you with special experience and unforgettable memories, which makes life more meaningful and complete.

Their experience

We have plenty of experience with animal care, and we're passionate about it!

Dima: In childhood I spent a lot time on our farm in Kherson countryside, where I helped to take care of our dog, 3 cats, chickens, and geese. I also helped our neighbours with their cows and goats from time to time. Along the way, I learned a lot of practical skills to take care of the farm, house and the garden. I absolutely love every minute I spent during that time and that's what made my childhood so full of joy and happiness.

Lera: I've been surrounded by animals since childhood. My family had a cat named Nusa and a Chihuahua named Busa, and I loved growing up with them. As I got older, I decided to help animals in need, so during my university years, I volunteered at an animal shelter in Kharkiv. I mostly took care of cats there and once rescued an abandoned cat from the street. He was in bad shape, but using my experience I nursed him back to health and named Polus. Eventually I found him a new loving home through our shelter.

Our Experience Together:

Lera and I met in Kyiv and after some time we adopted our beautiful grey cat Lars from the shelter. It was the love from the first sight - we instantly knew that he's our family.

When Lera’s parents bought a house in the Kharkiv countryside, we moved in to help care for the house and animals. There was a German Shepherd, Leo, who had been abandoned since February 2022. He survived only thanks to the remaining people of the village, who were feeding him. As you can imagine he was in need of a lot of love and attention. We spent a lot of time helping him recover emotionally and physically, and slowly, he became happy again. We also brought our cat Lars, who loved having the freedom of a big house and garden.

During our time in the countryside, especially through the cold winter, we put Dima's farm experience to full use. Dima took care of the chickens, chopped wood, and kept the house warm with the solid fuel boiler. It was a beautiful experience, being surrounded by our pets and nature.

So yes, we’ve been around animals all our lives and have the skills to take care of them, along with maintaining a home. We truly understand what it takes to keep pets happy and homes running smoothly!
