About this sitter
I am a mature woman who has raised three gorgeous children to adulthood. My profession provides me with periods of time between contracts that I am now using to give you peace of mind for your travels and the safe keeping of your home.
Why they want to house sit
After raising 3 children as a single mum I finally started working in my preferred vocation, technology roles with major (mega) events. This takes me around the world, and gives me differing lengths of time between roles. Taking time out to simply take care of a home, and some furry friends has become a great way to spend that time, providing a caring and professional service to homeowners and loving cuddles when applicable.
Their experience
I have provided housesitting services to friends and family for years and am now doing this in Europe and the UK. I've also raised and cared for our four-legged family members of both the feline and canine variety for many decades and miss them! I'm more interested in taking care of your home and pets than touring around on vacation or a sight-seeing tour.
What can they bring to the assignment
Many years of maintaining a property, love of animals and a happiness to enjoy downtime! I am reliable, responsible, and prefer to enjoy the company of your pets than touring the neighbourhood.

Friendly and Reliable
Cathy is an experienced house sitter who looked after our property for five months. She is calm, efficient and unflappable. She monitored all deliveries and liaised with our house management team for the changeovers in our attached holiday property, as well as keeping in touch with our gardener’s requirements (mainly coffee!). She interacted well with the holiday guests. As a matter of course, she kept us updated on other things around the property that might need attention, including important mail. On this occasion we were travelling with our dog, so Cathy did not have any pets to care for full-time. However, she kindly looked after our housekeeper’s two labradors when the holiday cottage changeovers were in progress. The dogs absolutely adored her and It is obvious she has a deep rapport with animals. Bryn and Brodie both miss her greatly! If circumstances permitted we would welcome her back.

Very happy to have met Cathy
Cathy came to stay for a short stint and was a complete godsend, because a last minute trip came up at short notice. She is very experienced at house- and pet-sitting and was highly well-organised. Cathy was genuinely affectionate with our two cats and it was a pleasure to host her for a few days.

Could not ask for better
Catherine was purely great. Ninevah was sitting on her lap and sleeping between her feet by day 3, I believe. She sent me lots of update pics and videos and just seemed so chill and kind and responsible.Catherine had no trouble administering Nini's meds. I'm really glad she had a good time at my flat and I really hope she's able to sit for me again.

Simply the Best Choice!
Catherine stayed at our house taking care of our dog, Pancake, for two months, and she was absolutely amazing. She did a fantastic job looking after Pancake, taking her on walks, playing with her, and giving her all the love and attention she needed. She sent us daily updates and always made sure we were in the loop about the mail, stuff around the house, and anything else that came up. She left the house exactly how we left it, clean and organized, and she’s super responsible, thoughtful, and reliable. She’s such a lovely person with a beautiful soul. I can’t recommend her enough. Don’t think twice about choosing her to take care of your home (and your pets!). Cathy is just the best! ❤️
