About this sitter
Hello we are Ines & Roland from Germany.
Ines is physiotherapist and 59 years young.
Roland is pharmacist and 50 years old.
We are married since 2011 and we are a couple since 1996.
Our passion is traveling.
We are very active hiking and cycling a lot as well as kayaking.
We live near the capital of Berlin on a one hectare property. We are familiar with the work in the house and in the garden.
We grow some vegetables our self.
While we travel, we have house sitters ourselves and know what it's like to entrust your own home to someone you don't know.
So we will treat your house with respect like it is ours.
By the way we do not smoke.
We look forward to caring for your pets and home.
Why they want to house sit
We both love animals very much and have had dogs, cats, birds, fish etc. ourselves.
Now that we travel a lot, we no longer have our own animals and miss them.
For our attention pets give us so much back, especially dogs.
On all our previous housesits we made great experiences.
Housesitting gives us the opportunity to explore destinations not only as a tourist and gives a better understanding of what is the living there.
And that's where home owners come in to play. With some of them we are still in contact and some became friends.
To say it clear we don’t look for a free accommodation we simply love to spend time with pets.
Their experience
We made more than twenty housesits in Australia so far. For the upcoming winter we already confirmed the next three housesits. Several times we were asked to come back for another sit. That was a pleasure for us to meet our fur buddys and their owners again.
Sometimes we take care for dogs when their owner is on holydays or away for another reason on our own property in Potsdam.

What can they bring to the assignment
During the housesit your pet and home gets our full attention because we don’t have to work.
Depending how good your dog is on the lead and/or if he/ she is used to go by car we can take them on exciting new adventures.
If you like we can keep you up to date with pictures during our stay.

The first time we had a house sitter.
Ines and Roland were our first house sitters. The video call had already given us enough confidence that we were looking forward to the appointment with nothing but positivity. Communication worked well every time. The two of them obviously have experience with dogs and had no problems whatsoever with our three girls. They returned the dogs to us relaxed and the house clean – it couldn't have been better. If it works out again at a later date, we would definitely choose them again.

Happy and Chilled Dogs, Happy Owners
Ines and Roland were friendly and respectful hosts. We returned home to happy and relaxed dogs, a well maintained swimming pool, a clean house and our pot and garden plants had been well watered, especially during a hot period of weather. It was reassuring to have regular contact with Ines and Roland, so we knew they were okay, equally if they needed any advice or had questions and that they were also enjoying their house sitting experience. The communication between us prior to the house sit, during it and post house sit, was relaxed, positive and very comfortable..........highly recommend these guys, if you are lucky enough to secure them, they will care and look after your home, pets, garden and swimming pool! xx

Wonderful Petsitters, now friends.
Ines and Roland sat for us in the Charente Maritime in May/June 2025. They arrived a day early and we enjoyed getting to know them. Polite, attentive to the needs of our animals and home, we would not hesitate to recommend them for future sits, and we will be actively trying to invite them again to our house! Merlot and Shiraz were looked after so well, we were kept in touch with how they were, and on our return they were happy and content. The house was immaculate and we also enjoyed a meal together cooked by Ines, the day after we returned. We will definitely be in touch and wish them well for the future.
