Senior Lady Looking for Adventure in House Sitting

About this sitter

My career includes Wedding Planning/Coordinating/ Events/Catering/Instructing Social Graces/Substitute Teaching-All grades/Office Managing/Real Estate Sales/Writing (Books and Articles) I am retired from all these except for writing, the occasional SG class, and I keep my substitute teaching certificate active. Presently I am in the 7th month of a 20 month house sitting commitment here where I live in Temple, Texas. Also, I will be fully retired beginning October 27, 2025. I am two months free between my Retirement date of October 27 and when the second leg of my 20 month commitment begins again on January 15, 2026. I'm excited about the adventures available to me in house sitting throughout the US. I’m not involved in a relationship; I do not smoke or use drugs but do enjoy a occasional glass of great wine with a super special dinner. Beyond the occasional glass of wine, water is my go-to drink.

Why they want to house sit

House sitting is the perfect adventure for me to see the US and to have time to do my writings, some needle work, and some quilting - pieces I've been working on for a few years and never seem to have time to finish. I am a published author, am now writing a Family and Friends Cookbook, and never have enough uninterrupted time to work on either purposefully. In housesitting, I will have more time for these things when my house-sitting chores are finished.

Their experience

I have done house sitting for some high profile residents in Jackson Hole Wyoming, and in Alpine, Wyoming; friends who travel quite a bit each year, and I am presently in my 7th month of a 20 month house-sitting commitment here in Texas where I live.
