About this sitter
We are a husband/wife team and we have been home and pet sitting more than a decade throughout North America and Europe. We love cats and have hundreds of feline friends around the globe.
Paul is a fine art and commercial photographer and Todra is a writer.
We look for house sits with relaxed, nice homeowners and very clean homes.
Why they want to house sit
House sitting has afforded us our nomadic lifestyle and the opportunity to travel the world indefinitely. We have met some wonderful humans and felines along the way.
Their experience
We have done this for 14 years and had 40 or so 5 star reviews on this network, however they did not keep our account once we returned to the US and did not need to use the service for a year. Other networks keep our info until we need the network again. It's pretty disappointing to lose years worth of reviews. Spectacular sitters
Todra and Paul were spectacular sitters! They were incredibly thorough and thoughtful, and they took care of our three cats (including one who needs daily meds) with love and attention. I don't even think they missed us! They were also understanding and helpful when some unexpected annoyances came up, and I really appreciated their willingness to work with us on solutions. True cat whisperers
If you are lucky enough to get Todra and Paul as petsitters, look no further. They watched our cat Velvet for a week and we came home to a happy cat and a sparkling clean house with clean sheets and towels. Communication with Todra was easy and she sent regular updates with photos. Velvet sat in a burr patch in our yard and Todra and Paul managed to comb them all out. They are true cat whisperers! We would be happy to have them back any time.

Just terrific
Todra and Paul were just terrific! From the very first interaction, I found them to be extremely conscientious, responsible and kind. My kitty is very shy, but she came out her shell during their stay and Paul took some beautiful photos which he sent along with helpful updates. They were good about checking in me about household related questions (e.g. where to find batteries for smoke detector, leaky hose in the yard, etc.) and kept me well informed about my shy, senior kitty. After a very long day of travel, I came home to a happy kitty, a vase of beautiful flowers and a sparkling clean house. I highly recommend them and would welcome them back anytime! Would highly recommend them
Todra and Paul were delightful and perfect house and cat sitters! They were extremely reliable and sent updates with amazing photos when we were abroad for two weeks. On return, the house looked perfect and the cats were very happy. One of our cats is very shy and she was able to come out of her “shell“ with Todra and Paul, which was fabulous! Would highly recommend them!

Nice, caring, and trustworthy
Todra and Paul are very nice, caring, and trustworthy people. They kept the house clean and even cleaned the refrigerator before we returned! Most importantly, our cat Ash was happy and healthy while we were away. Given that our cat is older with health issues, it was great not to have to worry about him AT ALL while we were away for 2 ½ weeks! They sent a few really great pics – since Paul is a photographer -- while we were gone and were always very responsive to any questions we had. Since they were very busy with work and were perfectly self-sufficient, I didn’t bother them with requests for more pictures or more information about how Ash was doing.

Jackpot
This was our first time using a sitter and I think we hit the jackpot. Todra and Paul are seasoned house/pet sitters and it showed from our first interaction. They asked thoughtful questions and I left feeling very at ease that both my dog and home would be well cared for. I came home to a clean home and a happy dog. Yay!! I truly hope that Todra and Paul are available again the next time we go away.

Todra and Paul were very organized and came an hour before we left to meet Jackson. We communicated regularly with them while we were out of the country. They endured unexpected noise from the unscheduled construction that was going on in our usually quiet townhome area, which was very unfortunate, but they weathered the inconvenience and we were able to work out an arrangement the last week, thanks to their flexibility. Jackson seemed quite content when we arrived home and obviously was well taken care of! Thank you Todra and Paul!

Todra and Paul were lovely
Todra and Paul were lovely! Batman was well cared for, and we arrived home to a newly cleaned sparkling home. The latter went far beyond the mere tidiness I would have expected and been happy with -- they actually cleaned the whole house and left fresh flowers! We received timely updates about our fur baby, who seemed happy and healthy when we returned. I would invite them back without hesitation.

Todra and paul were excellent sitters
Todra and paul were excellent sitters for mira. We were able to chat beforehand and go over all of mira's needs. Todra communicated well, txt if she had any questions and sent picture updates of mira, which I appreciated. The house was in tip top shape when I returned home and linens were all changed out. This sit had a couple snags for them. It was unusually cold and wet the whole time, which caused the ants to come in for warmth. So they had to deal with that, wiping up the ants etc. Mira sleeps in the garage at night, but it was so cold They didn't have the heart to leave her in the garage, so she cried in the middle of the night and woke them up. Fortunately, it warmed up after a few days and they were able to put mira in the garage and finally get some sleep. Thank you for staying

Todra and Paul were great to work with! They were friendly, communicative, easy to work with, neat and clean, and immediately seemed reliable and trustworthy. When I came home Mamacat was happy and relaxed. She had clearly become quite comfortable with them. They had cleaned the house at the end of the stay, and they even helped me with some of my TV setup that I had been having trouble with. They were very responsive with texting through the week, including while weathering a big storm here while I was gone with no problems. I would welcome them back to housesit and take care of my kitty any time.

The best housesitters
Todra and Paul were easily one of the best housesitters we've ever had and we've had many. They were very communicative and also self sufficient -- clearly know how to strike the balance of keeping us updating while letting us be away. And our dog and house are in great shape -- we can tell when sitters have not been good with our dog and they were fantastic. We're so grateful to have met them.

Todra And Paul were very prompt and thorough in communicating when we were setting up the arrangement. They took the time to meet prior to the stay to introduce the dog and cat, and go over details. They were flexible on arrival/departure times, sent photos of my critter pals, and let me know about any issues during the stay. Linens and dishes as well as rest of house were clean upon my return.
