About this sitter
We are a married couple in our early sixties. My name is Norsham and my husband is Ruhaizat. Recently retired from the corporate world and now have a lot of time to ourselves. Our son is married with 2 small kids living on their own while our 22yo daughter just sat for her final degree exam.
Why they want to house sit
We would love to have the experience of living in a home like locals. Tending to gardens and farm animals and pets to enable the house owners to have peace of mind while they are away. We are neat and clean people and love keeping everything neat and organised. You can see review on us via our Airbnb profile.
Their experience
Not as registered house-sitters. As we were then busy with our careers. We have 3 lovely indoor cats at home and a small garden (we live in terrace house). On weekends we help to mow the lawn and some gardening at our mother's village house.
What can they bring to the assignment
Love and care for your pets, gardens/plants and house just as good as we take care of our own home. We are very responsible and organised people coming from background of company secretaries to the Board of Directors of established companies. Used to interact with Directors from UK, Belgium, Netherlands and a few other countries.

Sweet and extremely reliable couple
I can't but thank enough Norsham and her family for their catsitting and highlight how nice and reliable they have been (Thank you Norsham, Ruhaizat and Syakirah ❤️). This was our first time using MindMyHouse and I have to admit we were worried this might have not worked out. We planned to spend Christmas away, we had a sitter giving up on us and we decided to try MMH. Norsham contacted us and we clicked immediately as they looked sweet and passionate about cats (they have two) while showing commitment, availability and reliability through video and phone calls. The possibility of delays and flight cancellations during festivities was initially a concern as they were coming from the other side of the world, but they shared and updated us constantly agreeing to get here one day before just in case. Everything worked perfectly and when they showed up at our door we knew we made the right choice. Norsham, Ruhaizat and their daughter Syakirah have been so sweet and present with the cats who fell immediately in love with this happy family. They were sharing regular updates without the need for us to even ask and we could see the cats loved them. They have been extremely tidy and kept the house and our plants healthy and clean throughout the stay. When we came back they welcomed us and we managed to catch up on our respective holidays. Ziggy and Roxy were fit and I am sure they were happy with their hosts 😻😺. I can't only recommend Norsham, Ruhaizat and Syakirah to anyone and we hope we would live closer to rely on them again in the future. We are still in touch and we hope one day we can go visit them to Malaysia!
