About this sitter

We are Manuela, Andreas, Lea and Noah .
Our family lives on a 10ha farm in the Northern Rivers near Byron Bay (Australia) with 3 cats, a very cute Chihuahua and lots of chickens.

We love animals and enjoy caring for them. We home educate our children and seek to facilitate their understanding of the world through caring for other people’s homes, pets and animals.
As well as we love the idea of trusting in people and sharing.

We love the outdoors and before Noah's illness we traveled extensively. We love alpine hiking, skiing and being in nature.

Why they want to house sit

We are looking for a house sit in Europe preferably Germany to spend time with family and friends as our son was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago. There are very good treatment options available for him over there so we would like to give him the chance of healing and spending time with family.

Their experience

We own our own home/farm for 25 years. Our family always had a pets and animals, so we understand they are part of the family and we will treat them as such.

We housesit already in Germany/Bavaria for 5 month and in Australia. We were looking after big houses and gardens with animals/pets.

What can they bring to the assignment

At the moment we have a big garden that I built up from scratch after permaculture principles. It has more than a dozen of fruit trees & shrubs, lots of herbs, veggie patch and medicinal plants. We have chickens and I bake my own organic sourdough bread.
We are excellent communicators and understand the importance of keeping in touch with you.
We are open-minded, very flexible and trust-worthy, and we can provide help with taking care of your home, your pets / animals, garden, property, car, etc.
As a home owner you can be assured that your home will be kept clean, your pets will be loved and cared for, and that any unexpected housekeeping/maintenance will be efficiently and effectively handled. We are very fit, healthy and non-smokers. We got excellent reviews.
