About this sitter
I'm a data and organization nerd who served for years on the board of a private, foster-home-based animal rescue agency (Central Virginia Regional Rescue) and has fostered animals consistently for over four years. I am detail oriented and quiet, and I was raised with strong values and ethics. I love playing music and creating things (from woodworking to yarn dyeing to cooking to data automations). Why they want to house sit
I enjoy seeing new places around the world, but I like to do it as inconspicuously as possible, so pet sitting gives me the perfect opportunity! Plus I love animals, especially cats.
Their experience
I have fostered over 130 cats and dogs over the past 5-6 years, from sick kittens who nearly died to healthy adults. I personally own four cats (all foster fails), and I have cared for others' pets while they traveled. I have references who are willing to be contacted for more details!

Debi is just the best!
We feel so fortunate to have had Debi stay in our home with our two kitties while we were away on vacation. She is such a gentle spirit and was so good with our animals... as well as our many plants. Every day she sent us photos and a short story of what had happened with them that day. This was such a comfort to us. She works from home, so our kitties were happy to have her around during the day. She was very careful with our belongings and kept the house very clean and tidy.
