About this sitter

I'm a 35 y.o very active, responsible, outdoorsy, single female working in the biotech industry. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time on my kayak or stand up paddle board, hiking, cooking, or reading with my cat. I'm also a proud member of the board of advisors for Women in Leadership program of Mercy University.
My ideal housesit would be for a couple/ family with possibly some plants (I feel they appreciate my singing ;) and hopefully active animals that would appreciate/ accompany me on daily walks or cuddly cats to curl up with while reading at night.
I love and appreciate a cultural exchange when possible; be it on the other side of the world or in your backyard :)

Why they want to house sit

Recently, I've found myself with some extra availability to travel more which has been a lifelong dream of mine to travel the world and experience many cultures; the world is vast and time is short.
I very much admire the opportunity this community offers people and strive to be a positive contribution to that. I believe that hope and humanity resides within us all and grows stronger through each connection.
I'm obliged to be here and gracious for the opportunity to connect with you, to look after your most intimate space and I thank you for consideration.

Their experience

I am new to mindmyhouse but not house sitting or looking after animals. I've been caring for animals and others throughout my entire life and believe my blend of work/ volunteer/ life experience has given me a unique set of skills and experience that sets me apart from others.
I can produce references for both house sitting as well as work history upon request.

What can they bring to the assignment

I've done a variety of very technical and governmental jobs that require much composure under high stress environments and high aptitude for attention to detail. I'm very alert and efficient in a multitude of environments as well as part of the emergency response team at my job so my certification in CPR is up to date should any problem arise. I'm familiar with the stress of traveling and finding good help and care for your home and loved ones and only wish to make the experience smoother with direct communication and assurance. Under my watch, your home has an additional level of security and vigilance along with the warmth and love your home deserves.
