I love to see the world. There are so many beautiful things to see and interesting people to meet. I am retiring which gives me the opportunity to travel and in doing that take care of your house while you travel.

I like feeling at home and this is possible even when getting to know new places.

Yes. So far I have traveled to 20 countries outside the US and have traveled through 47 of the 50 US States. I have stayed in many places and also looked after friend's homes many times.

House, cat, hen sitter
John was my first sitter - house, cat and hens - through Mindmyhouse and it was a huge success. John arrived two days before our departure and quickly adapted to the cat and hens routines. His good sense and patience were apparent from the beginning and allowed him to win over our older kitty in short order. John’s natural friendliness and ease with people won us over as well. During our trip, John sent regular photos and notes, letting us know that all was well at home. Though John left just before we arrived home, he called to check in and we had a long conversation about the housesit. We were both very happy with the outcome. The house was in fine order upon our return, and, more importantly, our animals were happy and clearly well cared for. My husband and I believe that in addition to getting excellent, free pet sitting, we made a new friend which is so much more than we expected.
