About this sitter

I have been an animal lover from way back and have had many dogs, cats, ducks and chickens in my life. I know how difficult it can be leaving your beloved pets when you need/want a vacation and have to leave them behind. As a pet sitter, my focus is on easing your mind so you can fully relax and enjoy your time away without worrying about your pets.

Why they want to house sit

I've had numerous pet sitters in my home and would like to return the kindness to others. I also love traveling, and pet sitting gives me the opportunity to explore new places while having a home base. I am a seasoned traveler, but my style is not to knock off 4 countries in 10 day. I prefer getting to know a place more intimately, and there is no better way to do that than to spend some time in a local community.
And . . . obviously, there is the benefit of not having to pay for an airbnb or hotel. It is a win-win for both of us!

Their experience

I have taken care of many of my friend's dogs and cats, and chickens . . . and am also comfortable with goats, sheep, cows, and horses :-)
I am new on the mindmyhouse website, so I do not have any formal reviews yet. You would be my first good review :-) Although, I am happy to provide references that attest to my good character and responsible nature.

What can they bring to the assignment

I can assure you that you can be away on vacation and your home and pets will be well taken care of. I consistently email/text updates and provide photos to ease any concerns you may have. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to not spend your time away concerned about your home and pets.
