About this sitter
Dave and Sue are the founders and directors of an international nonprofit environmental education organization and have traveled to and/or lived in over 25 countries. We love to travel, meet new people, experience new cultures, and be of service along the way... We enjoy house and animal sitting, and we do not smoke or drink! We have also lived in an off-grid home with solar and wind power and are familiar with alternative energy systems.
Why they want to house sit
We enjoy traveling, meeting new people, and learning from different cultures. We also have experience caring for a variety of animals from dogs and cats to sheep, goats, cows and horses.

We have 30 years of experience traveling, leading international study abroad programs for students and adults, and house and pet sitting in the United States and internationally.
What can they bring to the assignment
A lot! First, we are responsible adults who will care for your home (and animals) as if it/they were our own. Second, we have a lot of experience traveling and experiencing different cultures and thoroughly enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. Great Sitter, lovely person
Both of my cats said they liked Dave very much! He made every effort to befriend them right away and I could tell he liked them. By happenstance I had 2 days with Dave before my departure and I enjoyed his company. He was gracious, even preparing dinner! He had the house spotless and the car cleaned and tanked up when I returned. He communicated well and openly, so I was confident in his being in my home with my pets. I highly recommend Dave as your pet sitter. I would happily have him return.
