About this sitter
I am a 60 year old semi-retired primary school worker who has lived in my house in Yorkshire for 25 years.
I spend as much time as I possibly can travelling and exploring new corners of mostly France Italy and Spain.
I consider myself to be a very empathetic and responsible, caring person to be left in charge of any pets or property.
Why they want to house sit
I am free now to spend periods of time away from home and would love the chance to experience staying in places I’ve not yet visited as well as those I’m more familiar with and meeting the people that live there.

I am a very positive person with a ‘can do’ attitude to life. I’m a skilled communicator (English speaking and also fluent in French) I love nothing better than meeting new people and experiencing new places.

A big thank you to Vicky who took away the stress of leaving our house for two weeks. She looked after the place well, and completely fell in love with our gorgeous cat Kishka. And on our return, she’d made us leek and potato soup so that we didn’t have to cook after a long and very tiring journey home. She’d even made us some jam from our own figs!
