Hi! I'm Clarisse, a registered nurse turned nursing educator based in Chicago. I spent nearly a decade working in psychiatric nursing, including several years at Bellevue Hospital in NYC, before transitioning into teaching. These days I split my time between teaching future nurses, tutoring, and spending as much time as I can with animals.

I've always been a devoted cat person, but I genuinely enjoy caring for all kinds of pets. Every animal has their own personality. We all know a social butterfly, a tiny gremlin, an anxious pup, or a senior cat who just wants a predictable routine. My nursing background means I'm comfortable with medication administration, including insulin injections, and I'm attentive to changes in behavior or health.

As a house sitter, I'm quiet, tidy, and dependable. I work around an academic schedule, so I often look for sits during school breaks or between semesters.
I'm looking for sits where I can provide peace of mind while you're away. You'll receive regular updates and photos, your pets will have consistent, attentive care, and your home will be clean and well cared for when you return.

Right now, I'm hoping to find a place where I can work in peace. Somewhere for more free of distractions than that of downtown Chicago.
