About this sitter

We are Dennis (36) and Jennifer (38), a reliable and caring couple from Germany. As experienced house and pet sitters, we love combining our passion for animals with our love for meaningful travel.

We both work remotely – Jennifer as a writing coach and author, Dennis as a tech-savvy photographer – which allows us to spend plenty of time at home and dedicate our full attention to your pets and property. A stable internet connection is essential for our work, and Dennis requires access to the router for a LAN cable connection (he can bring his own cable).

Our dream is to spend some time close to the sea and sunshine – ideally in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Madeira, or the Canary Islands.
We’re happy to exchange our reliable help for free accommodation and are open to mutually supportive arrangements, such as a small contribution toward travel expenses when appropriate. The most important thing for us is mutual trust, respect, and good communication.

Why they want to house sit

House sitting allows us to experience new places while caring for animals, which we truly love. Since we travel regularly, we currently don’t have pets of our own – so caring for others’ pets feels especially rewarding. For us, house sitting isn’t just about looking after a property; it’s about creating a safe, peaceful, and loving atmosphere for both pets and homeowners.

Dennis: Dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, and even snails.

Jennifer: Dogs, cats, turtles, and rabbits.

We’ve also taken care of friends’ and relatives’ homes and animals during their holidays, ensuring everything stayed clean, safe, and well-loved.
